Good but unstable build

Not sure what's happened to my set but fawkes is incredibly unstable on the stand, I have built this set before for someone else and fawkes is able to stay balanced and there is a lot of resistance to him when pulling him off, however on my set it just comes straight off and he wont balance straight. I enjoyed building it but got annoyed at the end result and rebuilt it again to see if it was my own doing but nope same issue. Luckily I've got fawkes in a stable position but the second I hold the set its broken. Think I may have a faulty one as the other set was perfect.

My family and I had a fun time assembling this particular Lego set as we are big Harry Potter fans. I was just disappointed by the size as I assumed it would be bigger, but that doesn't take away anything from the set - that was just my preference. I loved this set a lot and I feel like I could proudly display it.

You are never too old for LEGOs, and this was such a fun addition to her growing Harry Potter collection! The instructions were clear, and it was easy to put together while still being really satisfying. The final display is beautiful and compact, so it can fit anywhere. We loved the little details... the hat, sword, and baby phoenix are such nice additions. The moving wings are also a great feature that makes it stand out. This is a must for any Harry Potter or LEGO fan.

Lego is such an incredible creative activity. It was not very complicated and is a good representation of Fawkes from Harry Potter for this scale. I appreciate the articulating wings so it can be posed in multiple positions. Would highly recommend!

Comes in a small box, so if it is going to be taken apart you might need a box for the 299 pics. Looks so cute & definitely a Potterhead must. I can't say anything about an odor because it is just the regular Lego scent.

The instructions were clear and no pieces were missing. I think it looks like what it was supposed to. I am a fan of this set and think any Harry Potter fan should grab it!
