Yes, I recommend this
I bought these shoes for my daughter some time ago. She loves them, they are stylish and comfy. She wanted a school shoe that didn't look too babyish but still has a strap. These shoes are perfect. About to order a second pair.

Too broad
No, I don't recommend this
Even though my granddaughter has a wide foot and high instep this shoe gaped at the sides. This was possibly because it has an ankle fastening rather than fastening across the instep.

These shoes are so cute, and my daughter fell in love with the look, but even after walking around the house in them for a bit, didn't say that they felt poorly. Unfortunately, got about 1/2 way on the walk to school and she could not make it - was in so much pain. Had to wear her PE kit trainers all day. I double checked at home that they were her shoe size (3) not sure why they hurt the back of her Achilles so much.
