Glycerin max review 5 star
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They are extremely comfortable and cushion the feet perfectly, like a soft pillow. Truly ideal for those of us who work standing up all day and often end up with very tired feet. 100% recommended.

Could be a great recovery shoe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: Super comfy, very smooshy- if this is what you are looking for- this shoe is great Con's: For me personally, the rocker was too exaggerated, and the shoe was very high- Normally wear: Ghost I have been a runner my entire life, and have consistently used brooks for 18years. A few months ago, developed compartment syndrome from overtraining for a mountain summit. I usually wear Ghosts and Launch... but thought I would try something a little softer to help ease the discomfort. I did not actually run in these, because I could tell right away they were not going to work for me for training. But I was tempted to keep them as a recovery shoe! They are amazingly smooshy and comfortable. I think this shoe would be great for nurses and others on their feet all day though, and runners that are comfortable with this ultra stacked sole.

Cushion but not for me
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On a heavier side which for me making difficult to run in them for long time. Also a bit narrowing on top that I feel like hitting my toes with every step, even I already size up half size. Was hoping to take them on my next race but after the run today, not so sure if I should keep or return these!

Best shoe for cushioning and comfort on any run.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being a heavier weight runner, I’m always looking for all the cushioning that I can get in a good shoe. The glycerin max is incredible for performance and cushioning. I literally feel like I’m flying in these shoes because I feel so lightweight.

No side to side motion in these
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Probably great shoes for running, but I’m not a runner. I do classes and these have no support for side to side motion. Very comfortable for forward motion.

Not for me
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately I am returning these. There is so much cushioning in the sole that I feel like I'm stepping of of a curb with every step. I didn't even bother trying to run in them. They are good, comfortable shoes, just not for me.

Ankle pain from extra padding
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to return these after 1 run in them because the extra padding at the top of the shoe was rubbing painfully against the insides of my ankles. They felt great in the initial half mile of my run but the padding became too painful afterwards. I’ve been wearing regular Glycerins for years with no problems, I love my Ghost Max 2s, and I’ve never needed to break in any of my Brooks, so I was surprised these didn’t work out. I gave them 3 stars because otherwise they felt very good.

Can walk again!!
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
I actually bought these due to heel spurs. Trying to avoid surgery and have always been a walker for daily exercise. They literally have been a life saver and feels like walking on clouds. I stayed off my feet for several months and once I tried these on, I COULD WALK AGAIN. Cannot thank you enough for giving me my life back!!!! So extremely 🙏grateful.

Soul was to high for me.

Second to none
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cushioning is top notch. I have issues with my knees and hips and when I run I tend to get shin splints, but these sneakers all but eliminate those issues. I’m starting to train for my first marathon and these sneakers are an absolute must I also use them when working out and am able to do plyometrics, which I wasn’t able to do before. These sneakers are worth (more than) their weight in gold!

Terrible blisters!
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
These are the worst running shoes ever! There’s a reason they are on sale. Purchased them full price and after doing maybe 5+ runs and many walks I ended Up with horrible blisters on the inside of my foot. I went to a local running store and they told me they stopped selling them because they were so bad

Glycerin Max for the win!
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My feet are fused 80% and these are my go-to half/full marathon runners. Take it from somebody with real-life feet issues: These are 5-star. Like running on clouds but not clunky like most runners in this category.

Pronating :(
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to love this shoe but the support is lacking compared to the regular glycerin and I’m pronating like crazy!! It’s too late in the game for me to return for a standard glycerin. I love this shoe in every other way- the rocker feels great, the midsole is so cushioned.
