Fulstow Reversible Down Jacket

The maker is a well known and respected brand, and the jacket looks really good, however, when you find this kind of item at approximately half the market rate, there usually is a reason. The fact that the jacket is reversible, spoils it, and its trying to be too many things. Instead of a normal inside lining there is a fairly chunky external quality fleece. This has two main impacts on the normal "wearability" it is too warm, and the fleece interior sticks to whatever you are wearing, particularly in the sleeves. For example if you are wearing any knitwear you will have to force it through the sleeves. If this jacket wasn't reversible and had a lining similar to any other on the market, it would cost £100 more. For some it may not be a problem, but try it on before you chuck the delivery packaging.

The jacket itself is fine but the zip is very poor; difficult to zip up and nearly impossible to unzip. Not sure if mine is faulty or it's a design fault affecting all of these jackets. May be returning it soon.
