Sprinkle the salt (2 tsp) onto a saucer. Rub a tumbler with a wedge of lime (1 wedge) and dip in the salt to cover the rim.

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice (2 handfuls) and add the tequila (50 ml), fresh lime juice (35 ml) and triple sec (20 ml). Shake vigorously until the shaker feels cold.

Fill a tumbler with ice and strain the cocktail mixture into the glass. Serve with a lime wedge (1 wedge).
