Remove the steak (1) from the fridge to bring it up to room temperature and season liberally with salt.

Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large frying pan on a high heat. Add the steak and cook as per your preference. For rare, cook for 2-3 mins on each side and for medium cook for 3-6 mins on each side. Remove and transfer to a board and leave to rest.

Meanwhile, microwave the grain medley (1 pouch) for 1 minute 30 seconds, according to pack instructions. Allow to cool.

Add the baby carrots (2), white cabbage (1/4), edamame beans (80 g) to a large mixing bowl with the basil (15 g), coriander (15 g), grapefruits (2) and cooled grains. Stir through the M&S nuoc cham dipping sauce (5 tbsp) and lime juice (1).

Thinly slice the steak against the grain, then toss through the salad.

Serve the salad in bowls, drizzle over more nuoc cham dipping sauce to taste, then finish with a sprinkling of crispy onions (2 tbsp).
