Method

step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan/gas mark 6. Add the pigs in blankets (1 pack) to a baking dish and cook for 15 minutes.
step 2
Add the Yorkshire pudding batter (100 g) to a mixing bowl and slowly whisk in 100ml cold water. Season with salt and pepper.
step 3
Heat vegetable oil (as needed) (enough to deep fry) in a large, high-sided saucepan over medium heat, until the oil reaches 180°C. If you don’t have a thermometer, insert the handle of a wooden spoon – if you can see steady bubbles forming around the handle, it’s ready. If it bubbles too vigorously, it’s too hot.
step 4
Dip each pig in the batter in the batter and deep fry in the oil for 5 to 6 minutes until the batter is crispy and golden and the sausages are cooked through (you’ll need to do this in batches). Place on kitchen paper to remove any excess oil.
step 5
Heat the curry sauce (1 tub) and gravy (100 g) to pack instructions.
step 6
Season the battered pigs in blankets with salt and vinegar and serve with the curry sauce and gravy.
step 6 Season the battered pigs in blankets with salt and vinegar and serve with the curry sauce and gravy.
