Preheat the grill to medium. Toast the M&S luxury hot cross buns (4) under a medium grill on both sides, until golden. Brush with the M&S Distilled spiced rum spirit drink (6 tbsp) before arranging in one layer in a large glass trifle bowl.

Slice the bananas (3) lengthwise and arrange on a parchment-lined baking tray. Sprinkle with the demerara sugar (2 tbsp) and dot over the M&S Collection Farmhouse British butter (50 g). Place under the grill for 2-3 minutes, until the sugar caramelises. Allow to cool a little.

Pour the M&S salted caramel sauce (520 g) over the hot cross buns before layering over the bananas followed by the M&S Madagascan vanilla custard (500 ml). Grate over the dark chocolate (80 g). Gently whip the whipping cream (380 ml) until it forms soft peaks, then pile this on top of the custard. Finish by decorating with the M&S the original scrummy bunny munch (1 handful).
