Gently heat half of the tikka paste (1/2 jar) in a medium saucepan for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the coconut milk (150 ml) and bring to a gentle simmer.

Add the lentils (150 g), mix well and then add the M&S Italian chopped tomatoes (1 tin). Bring to a gentle simmer. Cover with a lid and cook for 30-35 minutes, adding extra water if it looks too dry.

Meanwhile, cook the rice (200 g) as per the pack instructions. Serve the dahl with the rice along with a spoonful of yogurt (to taste) and fresh coriander (1 handful), if you like.
