Great
Yes, I recommend this
These are great, to those who complain about the burghers being bland I can only say, if your taste buds have being numbed by overly seasoned meals add salt. People like me who like to taste the meat and not the seasoning will enjoy these.

Don't believe the publicity - avoid as tasteless
No, I don't recommend this
Let's be honest - M&S is a great food store and typically their products are worth the small price premium. However, if these are the "Best Ever' then that doesn't bode well for the other burgers sold by M&S. These are quite simply boring patties of meat. They are moist and meaty - two essential qualities for any burger. However, the are tasteless, being particularly unseasoned and, of course, taste is the most significant quality of any burger. I've seen the Retailer's response to some of the low ratings of others, including "we still believe these are the best burgers ever". Well - some people believe in fairies, but belief doesn't trump fact. My labrador woofed them down mind and it occurs, was the taste panel made up of canine contributors?

The best ever burgers...

These burgers really are well named! They did not shrink on cooking, they were juicy and flavoursome! Well done M&S

Not Nice
No, I don't recommend this
I bought the 2-pack for the expensive price of £4. The flavour was poor, and generally the burgers were pretty tasteless. More disappointing was the disgusting bits of grizzle. At £2 each, one would not expect to find it. I've tried many supermarket burgers, and the best by far are Sainsbury's 30-day aged burgers, at £3.00 for 2. They are far tastier than the M&S ones, and I've never once found any grizzle. As usual M&S are over-charging for poor quality food.

My son's favourite burger now
Yes, I recommend this
To be honest I thought when I ordered this that it would be a whole burger :) I mean with bun, sauce etc And I was a little surprised that I had to grill it and buy all what it takes. But as a result I got my son and his colleagues happy faces wanted more. The taste is amazing.

Expensive but not terrible
Yes, I recommend this
Have bought these around once a month since they became available. They stay nicely juicy if fried or grilled and they are a decent size but would not say that the marrow adds much in the way of a meaty flavour. Goes well with a brioche bun, rocket, a cheese slice and caramelised red onion chutney and mayo. One of the better burgers I have had out of a packet, but not as good as the lamb burgers also available.

Disgusting best ever burger
No, I don't recommend this
Best ever burger went straight in the bin. Awful texture, no seasoning and so much fat it set the fire alarm off. I had to spit my first mouthful out. I used to do burger tastings as a local authority procurement officer and have never tasted anything so awful. Will not be buying anything from M and S food after this.

Not your best ever burger
No, I don't recommend this
Your 25 or 28 day hung meat burger was superb..you discontinued it.I think you still do the ultimate burger? If so it is far superior to this best ever concoction. Firstly the fat content or bone marrow filled my kitchen and dining room with acrid smoke.I will bin the remaining burgers. It was moist but largely tasteless with little or no attempt at seasoning. Was it taste tested by an algorithm? No longer buy clothes from M&S and now will buy virtually no food.I just returned some Cru Beaujolais wine which was frankly awful, the return was quick and efficient.Such a shame, best you start taking some outside advice as a company in order to move forward.

These are gorgeous really delicious I would definitely recommend buying these. One of the best burgers I have tasted. They are very large Adult burgers but I cut them in half for my little ones.

Completely underwhelmed
No, I don't recommend this
After buying the lower priced 4 pack and was really impressed by the taste and how moist they were I thought the best ever (lol) would be even better. Not so these are possibly the blandest burgers I have ever bought. Poor seasoning, lack of flavour the Kings new clothes comes to mind. Going back to the cheaper and tastier ones.

Worst burgers
No, I don't recommend this
Really the worst burgers I’ve tasted for a very long time. Cooked on a dry griddle pan and they leached so much fat I had to drain the pan several times as they cooked. I know that burgers need fat in order to make them juicy but this was ridiculous. The entire house smelled like a chip shop. And the burgers were awful - they tasted overwhelmingly of fat and had a strange texture. Not nice at all. Whoever took a year to develop these needs to have a serious think about whether they’re in the right job.

So much fat for so little flavour
No, I don't recommend this
I bought these in store hoping they were going to be something special. How disappointing! I tried 2 grilled (to the letter) and 2 fried (to the letter). Taste wise there was no difference but my smoke alarm loved the grilled ones. The amount of fat that comes off them is disgusting itself, I could make greasy chips out of the grease that was left over but who wants a heart attack on a plate nowadays? I did wonder if that was where the flavour went as they certainly were under seasoned and plain. Thankfully the M&S beetroot and horse radish chutney gave them some flavour but will not be buying again.

Bones best ever Burger
No, I don't recommend this
I had read that there were traces of bone in these burgers. But as they were reduced thought I would try them. Never again. Bones loads of fat came out of them. I grilled them but there was so much fat I had to empty the tray on my George three times. I would not recommend these. Sorry Marks and Spencers but Sainsbury's taste the difference burgers win hand down.

nothing special
No, I don't recommend this
I was excited to see that M&S had apparently taken huge care and time in making what they tell us is their best ever burger. I was highly disappointed. No great flavour, and nowhere near enough seasoning. Plus one burger had small pieces of bone. Not great, M&S. You need to rethink this one.

This took a year to produce????
No, I don't recommend this
Like other people I got sucked in by the hype. What a bland and fatty burger. Where is the seasoning? These burgers are a waste of money. Try taking a tip from the butchers at Fodder Harrogate they really do sell the best ever burger.
