Artisan Striped Culottes with Belt

Culottes that fit well and will be a useful update to my wardrobe. The fabric creases a little when packed up but creases soon drop out on a hanger. I purchased a size 10 in store but they were too big and I ordered a size 8 on line which fit perfectly. Will be great for holidays as can dress up and down.

Was a bit apprehensive when I ordered these culottes but took a chance on ordering a size smaller, I am a 14 but ordered a 12 as the waist appeared to be elestic, glad I did, they are a little wide on the waist which is unusual for M&S items. On the whole they fit beautifully, have dressed them up as a suit with a black jacket and dressed them down with white and black T.shirts. I just love their versatility and would highly recommend them. Do you know what? I even think with the right shoes, bag and slinky/silk/floaty top they would look lovely at a wedding. These are good to go for any age.

I ordered these as soon as I saw them as I love culottes, however, they arrived creased. I pressed them, tried them on and loved them especially the colours in the stripes as I had quite a few that looked with them. When I came to wear them they had creased on the hanger so I had to iron them again before I went out and I have to say they did look good with the khaki jersey top from M&S. After a short car ride they were creased but by the time I got home they were so creased that I felt scruffy. If you don't mind the creased look they are for you but....

Another fabulous pair of culottes. Great material and lovely colours. I am a size 8/10 short but this time I have bought a 10 in long so that they are grazing the top of my ankles and they look very elegant for the evening! Well done M&S.

I purchased these mainly for holidays as I think culottes are more flattering on a larger lady than shorts although I have both. I thought that I had made a mistake in ordering the shorter length but they are perfect for me. I'm 5'3". I also have the monochrome ones but in medium length - both are OK. I dress them up with a white jacket for more formal occasions. The material is quite summery and the colours very good. Added to the fact the downward stripes elongate my legs, the size is true and the backside fits well without too many bumps showing. More culottes in larger sizes please.
