Not great - plate chipped in box
No, I don't recommend this
Unfortunately just a 1 star rating. Bought for a special occasion but even though the item was well packaged, quality control slipped up and there was a chipped dinner plate. Contacted M & S who said they couldn’t send out a replacement dinner plate but offered me £3.50 for the damaged plate. The dinner set is no good to me with a plate missing and I certainly wouldn’t use the chipped plate. The dinner set is not bad value for the sale price but I’m glad I didn’t pay more for it. The pattern seems very “faded” and I personally think it’s seconds.

Grabbed these as needed extra plates and these are at an absolute bargain price; they punch well above their weight - very pretty design that is somehow more subtle than in the photos, the quality seems excellent (already managed to clunk them together in the sink, but they emerged unscathed), sizes are perfect and if coordinating tableware is your thing these are unobtrusive/neutral enough to go with any colour scheme. Went back to buy the pasta bowls as well because the main set is so lovely.
