About this style
This longer-length padded coat features our water-repellent Stormwear™ technology to keep kids dry in light rain showers. Designed in a regular fit with a cosy fleece-lined hood and a zip fastening to keep out the chill. It's lined for comfort and has two side pockets and a secure zipped pocket at the chest for storing essentials.

Love the coat. We got the light blue one and it’s perfect for boys who like a little colour. I don’t know why people think all boys only like dark blue and grey and black!! It’s lovely and warm too. Please make this in bigger sizes!!! Don’t force boys to wear dull colours!!

I bought a few coats from various retailers and this came out top as reviewed by my 6 year old. He was adamant he wanted this one because it was the most snuggly and warm. I have to agree the lining is lovely and perfect for really cold weather. The hood fits well too, and although it states it’s shower proof, we’ve weather tested it in heavier rain and still remains dry inside. It’s well made and should be good for next year too, as it runs a little on the large side.

Great coat based on price point for the cold winter weather - nice and padded! It would be ideal if it was water resistant instead of showerproof however most jackets nowadays are only showerproof.

The coat is just as the pictures. It fits my little one well. It is long, and just what I wanted for the colder days. He says he's nice and warm. The lining is thick with fleece on the upper body and hood. My only gripe, but with all children's coats not just M&S is the hood is small. It just sits at the hair line, so if it were to rain.......but I find that with most children's coats.
