Pure Linen Structured Waisted Dress

I don't agree with some of the reviews. It's a gorgeous dress with fitted bodice top that gently flares from the waist and looks very flattering. Worn the right way (ie with heels) it's a really chic garment.

Great structured linen dress, but at this price (£100) should be better. 1) it is midaxi and fitted and has no back or side slit. This makes it quite difficult to walk and climb steps. You are partially hobbled. 2) dress is 100% linen, yeh, but the lining, whilst very well constructed, is synthetic. As the dress is fitted it is quite sweaty in warm conditions when one is more likely to wear linen. A light cotton or silk would be much better. 3) no pockets. Side seam pockets would be a great improvement.

The linen fabric and overall style of this dress are lovely, but the fit didn’t work for me. It was very baggy around the hips — a couple of inches extra on each side — yet going down a size would have made the bust too tight. Unfortunately, the proportions just weren’t right for my shape.

I really like this dress. I bought it in 12 14 and 16 to get the size right ( they are v low on stock) and 14 is spot on for me. That's my normal size in m and s. I saw it praised in some Vogue click bait, so m and s are obvs doing things right - though I'd have liked it anyway, but thanks, Vogue for bringing it to our attention! I have knocked one star off as it's a linen summer dress but the lining is part polyester. Maybe I'm being mean, as this probably helps give it a lovely shape, but could it have been all viscose? Please?

Really looking forward to receiving this dress but it was a huge disappointment. The top was lovely but then it went into a very odd shape that made me look as though as I have huge hips?!
