I was sent this glass trough of narcissi as a gift. Was impressed with the presentation and looked forward to the bulbs flowering. Unfortunately despite meticulously following the care instructions the bulbs just put up very long stems and leaves but the flowers never opened, they just turned brown and withered. I have a wonderful display in my garden and though I do keep pots indoors I have never had a problem with daffodil bud blast before. Nice container, bulbs looked healthy but mine just died without opening. Real disappointment. Happy to provide picture.

I ordered these for my mother's birthday for a few reasons: the blurb said they'd arrive as bulbs so I thought she'd be able to enjoy watching them grow and they'd last a while, the colour would go well in her home and the scent would be lovely. On arrival they were already fully gown, they were simply small but very tall, yellow daffodils and, therefore, had no scent. For the money we were quite disappointed.

The only fact when ordering this when the first 3 plants I had ordered it turned out they were not in store.This took time as you will know - but it turned out it crossed the line for this to be midday on Sunday and it was no longer able to have the 4th choice to have the delivery made on Monday - quite important - so I had to settle for Tuesday as I was not time to have the whole tedious order made with another firm!!!! Apart from all that it turned out to be very attractive for my receiver ..

This was sent as a valentine gift and although I appreciate that it was sent so that it gives maximum flowering time . It was completely void of any growth at all . My daughter has just sent a picture now and the greenery is just poking through . Over a week later . So theat was disappointing

I recieved this planter today for a valentine gift, i was excited as i saw it was from M&S, i opened the box & saw a huge mound of compost!!! The gift was from my husband who had thought i was getting a beautiful array of Narcissi, not a DIY bulb kit. I think M&S should sort their handlers out, its alot of money £30.00to spend on something that looks like a poundland gift !! I had trouble with delivery of my wedding cake a few years ago, so i can safely say i will not use M&S again !!!!
