Add a touch of elegance, sophistication and sparkle to every Christmas gift, with this 100% plastic free luxury wrapping paper and accessory pack. Made using material from well-managed, FSC®-certified forests and other controlled sources, the pack contains 1 roll of 2m long plain silver wrapping paper, 1 roll of 2m long blue and white mistletoe patterned wrapping paper, with silver foil highlights, and 1 roll of 2m long silver-foiled, snowflake patterned wrapping paper, each with a handy cutting grid on the reverse. The set also includes 1 spool of silver paper raffia ribbon and 1 spool of cream fabric ribbon, each measuring approximately 3m long, and 1 pack of 6 co-ordinating silver-foiled gift tags. The wrapping paper includes an additional 12cm of paper, in place of plastic wrap, to protect the roll and keep your wrapping paper perfect.

Beautiful paper and excellent quality but the tapes (3 or 4 of them) to secure the roll were dreadful and stuck to the paper. They had to be cut off which meant losing about 6 inches off the roll.

More hassle than expected from M&S

The paper rolls were prevented from unrolling by three sticky strips around each roll. If these didn’t unstick first time I ended up with a pile of little pieces and some bits still stuck to the paper. Although this saves using plastic sleeves the sticky strips need to be smaller and run along the edge rather than around the roll. I do like the guiding squares on the back to help cutting straight lines and two of the three rolls were pretty.

Lovely but why SO hard to get into?!
Lovely designs and good quality giftwrap however the three sticky tape bands do not remove easily and why so many when it comes in a box ? As a result I wasted some paper trying to get into each roll!

This wrapping paper is of very high quality but whoever manufactures it and decided to secure each roll in 3 sections with an adhesive band obviously didn’t undertake any testing. When trying to remove the adhesive bands you find they peel away in tiny pieces to the point they damage the wrapping paper and you instantly lose 6/8 inches on each roll. This is such a shame as like I said the actual paper, whilst not cheap, is very good.
