Good model, stiff suspension

This model looks great and has cool play functions like the rack and pinion steering and working suspension. While it's cool that they included IFS and a solid rear axle like the real truck, it's a shame the shocks are way to stiff to actually let it move. It's just about the same size as the jeep set, so they display well together. I hope LEGO pursues other similar models to make this an ongoing line like an FJ40, samurai, 2 door land rover, or the variety of other off road vehicles out there.

I've been waiting to complete my Ford Performance Lego collection with this set and it is finally here! I have absolutely no complaints with this set. I love how they his the steering feature by using the back tire to steer the Bronco compared to it's normal position on the top of the technic vehicles. Great Job Lego!

Bronco Bronco Bronco

I personally own this truck as my daily driver so when the Lego set finally was released on pre-sale I had to buy! The build was fun and complex. GOAT mode is pretty cool and fun testing over terrain. You can see the suspension compress and also then engine piston move up and down when hood is open. I do wish it had more options to it like the big defender Lego set. Hopefully they come out with a expert level build in the future.

I really enjoy this set! As a proud owner of a Bronco 2-door Badlands in real life, I knew I had to get this the second it was announced. I feel like there are some missed opportunities with it, but the good definitely outweighs the bad. Hits: 1. The few stickered details are great. They really nailed the dashboard sticker and even got the yellow air vent accents correct. Was also glad to see they put the correct design for the grille, as that seems like it could've been an easy one for lego to miss 2. The mechanisms inside the vehicle, including the V6 engine firing when "driving" are really cool. Again, that's nice attention to detail, and as someone who doesn't build a lot of technic, I was a little blown away by how well that mechanism worked. 3. The wheels are awesome - they could have easily gotten away with putting any old tread but it's nice that they put proper all-terrain tires on it and the black wheel matches the common sasquatch package wheels. Not sure if this was intentional (I'm sure they could have put hub caps) but I'm a fan of the design Misses: 1. This is really just a personal one, but I really wish lego would offer these types of sets in multiple colors. I'm sure it would create complication but as something of a Bronco enthusiast, I would do terrible things to get this set in the same eruption green color that I own in real life 2. Maybe nitpicky, but the angle of the "windshield" is a little off, and the black part on the hood that I believe is supposed to represent the top of the dashboard is a little too far forward, making it look like a hood design which would not be correct (though they got the hood sloping pretty perfect) 3. Probably my biggest "issue," if I can even call it that, is that the roof and doors should have been made removable. In real life, they literally just pull straight up with two hinges on each door and a series of screws around the roof where the panels meet the body of the vehicle. This probably would have been relatively easy to incorporate just using basic pins. I can understand how the two removable front panels would've been hard to simulate but I do think the entire roof could/should have been removable. Anyways, there really isn't anything wrong with or bad about this set. I think it looks great and functions really well. And it looks better in real life than online in my opinion. Good stuff, Lego!
