LEGO Marvel Spider-Man vs. Venom Muscle Car (76309) is a high-quality, buildable toy-car playset for 7 plus year old boys and girls. This build-and-play LEGO Marvel set is ideal for young Super Heroes, especially Marvel fans and kids who enjoy hands-on adventure toys. The buildable Venom car toy comes with 3 LEGO Marvel minifigures: Spider-Man with a web blaster, Venom with 4 tentacles and Spider-Woman (Julia Carpenter) with a flexible web that is large enough to ensnare a villain. The Venomized car features a shooter on each side, an accessible engine and an opening cockpit. Venom can sit inside the car by removing his 2 lower tentacles, which can be used to further Venomize the car. The buildable Super-Hero toy also includes a safe containing gold bars to inspire role-play action between the heroes and villain. The safe can be dragged away by the car, which also includes a compartment for the gold bars. For added digital fun, builders can zoom in, rotate models in 3D and track their progress using the fun, intuitive LEGO Builder app. LEGO Marvel building toy sets encourage fans to recreate exciting scenes with the Avengers and other iconic characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this Lego set together, I don’t have little kids. I thought it would be nice to do. It was fairly easy but it did take some figuring out as the directions don’t always show where to place the pieces. I had to look at the picture and figure it out for myself. It took a couple hours and was kind of fun. It would be nice I guess for a kid to do if he’s into the movies and characters. I have seen all the Spider-Man and venom movies so I can relate to this set. It’s a nice looking car.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is 11 years old and on the spectrum. He's been building this set and seems to be able to follow the instructions easily. Packaging is nice how the pieces are separated in numbered bags. He will likely just play with the figurines and the car will sit but its been a nice activity for the evening.

Safety wise as long as you follow the age it says on the box, no worries. Definitely a great value for your money.

Set 76309: In this set we get a standard Venom and Spidey that've been around for a bit, but we get a Jessica Drew Spider-Woman, which we haven't got since 76148 (kinda), the dual color face printing has come along way since then and the color bleed isn't as bad, so you you get a crisper face. The car build is great! Lego always does really well with making muscle car builds and this one one harkens back to the same feel from 76912, 76181, and 76173. The Venom symbol on the hood as opposed to a decal is great! The red windshield piece is awesome. You can combine the Venom body with the Panther head from set 76310 to make a pretty good pure Lego Agent Venom. This set is pretty standard, but a great deal if you need Venom and Spidey, plus you get a great Spider-Woman and the Venom Roadster.

This set is a great addition to any city or hero collection. The vehicle pairs nicely with other vehicles particularly, the miles morales muscle car. This set receives an A from the Brick Prodessor.
