Hooded Padded Puffer Coat

I love the overall quality of this coat. It is particularly warm on the coldest of days, it has been proved to be waterproof and a big advantage in that the hood zips off. It is an ideal length for me, I’m about 5’3”. The features I don’t like about the coat are it is not easy to zip up from the bottom as it is not easy to get the fastener into the zip holder and sticks at the bottom when you try to pull it up. In such an expensive and otherwise well made coat I would have expected a heavier weight zip fastening. Also the hood comes too far forward and I have difficulty seeing out of it as it doesn’t stay where I place it further back on my head. I also find it very heavy and find it difficult to lift up over my shoulders or onto a coat peg.I bought this coat as I needed a smart serviceable warm coat to go to a funeral. I am disabled and need aids to walk a short distance or a mobility scooter. I therefore, am unable to carry an umbrella and get cold easily so these are the reasons I purchased the coat because it is waterproof and very warm.

Although this coat is rather expensive in my opinion it has a style that sets it apart. It’s a good length and comfortable to wear.

I absolutely loved this coat, it was perfect and I was so delighted with it. 5 days after collecting it, one of the button-studs (front and back) fell off, leaving a hole where it should be. This shouldn’t happen with such an expensive item! I returned the coat and couldn’t get a new one as it was sold out.
