Great Granddaughters 5th birthday cake.
Yes, I recommend this
As my great granddaughter was 5 on 30th October, she chose this cake. All the children at her party loved it. It was lovely, the flavour, consistency and decorations were absolutely first class.

Tastes and looks good
No, I don't recommend this
Tastes fabulous as always. This one had a very hard outer chocolate shell so almost impossible to cut. I changed knives to find one that would cut cleanly, I even tried sawing it, but the chocolate still shattered. The sponge was so soft that it crumbled, so the presentation was awful. I don’t know how anyone could cut 40 pieces, unless they were very small, and particularly with my cake where it just fell/broke apart. The 3* mark is for taste and the look of the uncut cake.
