Denim Belted Midi Shirt Dress

I usually have a 10 or at most a 12 but this dress came up so tiny it was nowhere near to doing up!

Despite having read some reviews I thought I’d order this dress anyway and found that on opening it up it looked fabulous especially in the Sale but I agree that the pockets are SO horribly bulky and it makes my hips look absolutely enormous. I decided to unpick the side seam and remove the pockets, and after sewing it back up taking a considerable amount of material in , the dress is lovely. Although that may seem like a lot of work it didn’t take long even for a sewing novice like me to do with the machine and I now have a lovely denim dress for £14.

Lovely denim dress especially as purchased un sale. Like other reviewers some of the poppers are a bit less secure and the hips do stick out more than I'd like. Good length for me

Got the dress two weeks ago and have worn it in multiple occasions. Easy to dress up and wear casually.

I first purchased this in-store in Newcastle in early September. When I tried it on back in the hotel after a busy day sight-seeing, I felt it made me look even more washed out and tired. Despite being good value at £45, I returned it. However, I noticed last weekend that it had been reduced and re-ordered it online. I felt the denim was not too bad, it is light in weight to wear and looked much better on me after a trip to the hairdressers and re-newed make up. I will wear it with trainers, ankle and knee length boots and also a wide leather belt. I agree with another review that the side pockets do makethe wearers hips look wider and that the pockets in side seams of flared dresses really are unflattering. But all in all. Compared with similar dresses in other stores, this is a good buy.

I have bought this dress in the sale so it was reduced by a few pounds but at its original price it is value for money. You can dress it up or just wear it as it is. Good buy.

I bought this dress just to see if a denim dress would suit me as I’m 64 I was really pleased with it and my daughter approves as well I bought an 8 I am either an 8 or 10 it is a snug fit at the top but not tight

I'm really happy with this purchase. The dress will take me anywhere. It looks great with trainers and also boots. I will certainly be wearing it a lot.

The cut of the skirt made me look bigger round the bottom than I am.

I waited for this dress to come into the sale, I was delighted to purchase it. So disappointed that 4 of the buttons around the tummy area didn't pop together & wouldn't fix shut. Awful quality for M&S

I was over the moon when I saw this dress on your website; the style, colour and length were just what I was looking for, and it had pockets. Disappointment set in when I opened the parcel to find a dress that looked as though somebody had slept in it; it was so creased. The body of the dress was too short making the waist sit too high up at the bottom of my ribs. The pockets also looked bulky and were not flattering at all. The length was just right. So disappointed!

Love this. Sizing and length is good, and denim not too stiff. Easy to style in different ways; very versatile
