What's in season in spring?
Spring is an exciting time of year for British seasonal produce. Get ready for dippy eggs and asparagus soldiers as the year’s first asparagus shoot out of the ground. Be sure not to miss our King Asparagus – the biggest, sweetest and most tender variety around. Meanwhile, nutty and delicate Jersey Royals are ready for springtime potato salads. Dive into each month with Tom Kerridge’s handy seasonal cooking guides.
*Look out for the asterisk. Alongside the best British seasonal produce, we've included some special fruits and veg (think blood oranges and Bursa figs) that only grow in warmer neighbouring countries.

With summer comes a bounty of amazingly sweet, ripe summer tomatoes, including some very special heritage varieties, ready to be sliced into bright salads and refreshing gazpacho. Plus, you can expect a glut of the juiciest berries, perfect for summer pavlovas and trifles, and the first of the season’s stone fruit – try this King Cherries and all the berries Eton mess. For a snapshot of what’s in season each month, read on for Tom Kerridge’s detailed guide, with recipes to help you transform all that produce into something delicious.

As we head into autumn, expect a bumper crop of squash and pumpkins to add sweet, earthy flavour and colour to comforting stews, curries and soups. There’s also beautiful carrots, vibrant greens and ripe figs. Meanwhile, a juicy mix of orchard fruit, like heritage British apples and pears, overlaps with the last of the stone fruit, heralding the start of cosy crumble season. Be inspired by chef Tom Kerridge, who’ll take you through his month-by-month guides on what’s in season, plus loads of recipe ideas to inspire you.
What’s in season in winter?
Embrace roast dinner season with a bounty of gorgeous root veg, like tender, hand-trimmed sprouts, beautifully sweet baby carrots and homegrown potatoes (for the most incredible roasties). As we enter the darkest days of the year, citrus fruits*, like blood oranges, lemons and easy peelers, are at their sweetest and juiciest, brightening up your plates and your palettes (hello, winter citrus and whipped ricotta toast). Eat the seasons month-by-month with Tom Kerridge’s seasonal recipe guides.
