Contemporary Christmas Brights Wrap & Tag Pack - 14m Wrapping Paper & 12 Tags

I normally can’t wait (sad I know) for M&S to bring out their Christmas wrapping paper and cards. Always good quality and doesn’t rip when wrapping. This year I was stunned when all they had for choice was basically something that Mr. Blobby drew up. Childish and looked like birthday wrap for a child. No choice this year, nothing overly Christmassy. I’ve got past M&S wrap that’s so gorgeous. Presents look amazing and makes it all the more special. All wrap everywhere now seems to have these labels on instead of plastic holding the roll together but in my opinion sticking 5 labels down them which is a nightmare to get off is also stupid!! Why not just run one actual peal-able label down it to join or something else all together. Now I love M&S and I’m always buying stuff here, not much to complain about. But please bring back the gorgeous crimbo papers for next year and pretty cards.

I normally love M&S christmas wrap especially since the do the huge the roles but this year is a huge drop. Starting with the positives, this is a great design and can be used all year round. However, the tags don't really match in my opinion but I can live with that. Now the really bad, one of the best things about M&S wrap in the past was the cutting guide on the reverse side and now that's gone and been replaced with a supposed alternative design. This seems to have happened across the range. The wrap is also not as strong as it used to be. The stickers on the front are annoying but I think they have given some extra paper in the roll to make up for the fact it will ruin some of it. Really disappointed and will make me think twice before buying again.

I really thought the reviewers who’d mentioned the great big labels that wouldn’t come off were exaggerating. How wrong was I? There were no less thank five great big supper-sticky labels holding the roll of paper closed, and it didn’t matter how carefully I tried, there wasn’t a hope of removing them, particularly as the wrap is so flimsy and tears if you sneeze near it. The real kicker was that four of the labels were only there to advise me proudly that there was no plastic used and the labels were recyclable. Now call me picky but isn’t the idea to use first and then recycle??? I am stunned by how far M&S quality has fallen, shan’t bother again….

Really lovely bright wrapping paper, and tags. I love the fact that its double sided.

Can be used any time of year. Need to be careful as tears easily
