Very few cooking instructions. I crushed fennel seed and garlic with some sea salt and rub it into the rind, an hour before cooking it. I placed slices of apples and onion plus garlic at the bottom of the roasting tin , placed pork on top. Slow roasted at medium oven for an hour and 20 mins, and then added half pint of apple juice and turned the temperature up to Crispin the crackling for 30 mins or so. Made gravy with the juices, it was delicosous. served 10

I agree with other reviews, the Porchetta was very tasty and cooked to perfection. However I do think it is on the small size and definitely would not serve the amount recommended.

Excellent pork joint, really tasty with the hint of anniseed from the fennel, everyone enjoyed it. Only comment I would make is that in our house it wouldn't feed 8 to 10. I found it perfect for 6.

Let's start with the bad part: don't believe this would serve 8-10 people. Maybe it would if the people would all be 3 years old. The thing is that it's so good, you can't stop at the first portion. Seriously, a fantastic meal, tender, fragrant and juicy. Planet pork to the next level!

We purchased 2 of these joints for a family celebration. They were good sized joints, but very heavily seasoned with garlic stuffing and the garlic taste and smell was overpowering. We cooked one joint and froze the other. We do like garlic so normal garlic seasoning is not an issue, but this was OTT, much too much and most of the family ourselves included did not enjoy the meal for this reason.. It did spoil the celebration meal. This was not rubbed with garlic and sage but STUFFED with it. Not sure what we will do with the 2nd joint in our freezer. I would NOT purchase this again!!

we have had this before and like this one was very tasty, once we managed to but it in store and for 4-6 , the on line one is 8-10, so we have to cut it up and freeze. Why can you not have it in store?

Bought this as part of the dine in for friends & everyone really enjoyed it. Very tasty!

Had this originally in Rome and was so happy when M&S started to sell it. Have had this twice now and shall definitely be ordering another soon, served it warm it Italian flat breads and then with Dauphinoise potatoes, steamed greens and baby carrots, as a Sunday roast alternative.

I love this product and served it for Christmas last year. I ordered again this September and received the porchetta joint without any packaging, labels or any cooking instructions at all??? This is really annoying as I will have to guess what temperature and how long to cook it for which will probably result in over cooked or undercooked meat. Marks and Spencer’s you can do better than this. This is why I gave an overall rating of 1 star. Can anyone help with instructions?

Cooked as per the instructions resulted in a delicious roast, soft, tender meat, and crunchy crackling. Plenty for six, also great served cold the next day. This won’t be the last time I purchase this feast. Great to feed a family for Sunday lunch. Recommended.

This is they second time I have bought this and it was just as good as the first. Great flavour and cooked to perfection following instructions. Loved by everyone, there was five of us and it was just enough. Try it you won’t be disappointed

Porchetta is a family favourite and so I bought this for when my family are coming to stay. The joint is well prepared and rolled. It has gone in my freezer so of course I can’t yet comment on the taste but I haven’t yet has a poor joint of meat from M & S, so I am hopeful!

Delicious tender meat , cooking instructions simple and easy to follow. Recommend if you are cooking for a large number of people. Thank you M&S
