Cake was fine but having ordered it a week before a friend’s birthday, M&S failed to deliver on her birthday as requested. The cake turned up 4 days later.

Incredibly disappointing - not much bigger than a large cup cake! Having sent the other chocolate birthday cake to one granddaughter I stupidly thought this would be the equivalent for my other granddaughter. could not believe my eyes when I saw it - thank goodness she only had a few friends to her party!
