I love the vintage look of this beautiful navy and white checked pleated mini skirt. It fits true to size and will look perfect worn for work with a navy or white/cream blouse and the matching waistcoat if the weather is a little chilly or you want to look extra smart for a work meeting/special lunch. Ballet pumps or loafers look cute but so do navy or cream ankle boots.

This is definitely a mini skirt. If you have any kind of bum, it might make it indecently short. I have the legs of a corgi, and hit hits between mid thigh and my knee in the front, and mid thigh at the absolute most, standing pin straight, in the back. The waist is true to size, and sits nicely. The pleats are lovely.

The material is lovely, has a nice weight and I liked the design. I usually would order petite in clothing but ordered the regular as i hoped it would be a little longer than mini. I would never have worn it without thick tights and my DMs. Unfortunately, this was quite short and with most items that have pleats, if you dont make them right, it ends up making the skirt stick out, which is what happened here. It seemed to be small fitting too, i normally take a 12 but i think a 14 would have been a better fit. Shame, it was nice to look at.
