Preheat the oven to 220°C/200°C fan/gas mark 7.

Spread the hot honey chicken tenders (2 packs) onto a baking tray and bake for 20-25 minutes, according to the pack instructions.

Line a second baking tray with parchment paper.

Empty the scone mix (1 pack) into a bowl and rub in the diced cold butter (70 g) with your fingertips until the mix resembles breadcrumbs.

Mix 1 egg (1) with the milk (120 ml), then make a well in the centre of the mix and pour in the egg mixture, bacon (15 g) and cheese (40 g). Mix with a wooden spoon to form a dough. Do not knead.

Roll out the dough onto a floured surface to approximately 2.5cm thick and cut into 6 triangular scones.

Beat the second egg (1) and brush the tops of the scones with the egg. Sprinkle the tops with salt and pepper. Bake in the centre of the oven for 13-15 minutes until well risen and golden.

Allow the scones to cool slightly before slicing in half and filling with the chicken, hot honey sauce (that comes with the chicken), garlic mayo (as needed) and pickles (as needed).
