The material was nice and thick and good quality but there is no way these are meant for girls! The waist band was ok but the seat and the legs were way too baggy! Also the sizes came up huge.

Very stiff cotton, which my children didn't like, so I returned. I could see why they didn't like them, as the shorts looked uncomfortable, though I'm sure this would have eased as they had been worn in.

Alternate to purchasing at the school uniform shop
Pre-school shorts for my second child purchased at around a 3rd of the price I paid first time around at official school uniform outfitters. These shorts are good quality and fairly priced - thank you M&S
