Pure Cotton Fleece Lined Hooded Parka

I needed a replacement coat for Winter. I have not bought a Parka style for a while. It is very warm, waterproof, wind proof, and a good length plus the quality is excellent. It is a staple at the moment with such cold weather. The fit is on the big side - I bought a size 12, I am usually a 14 and am medium build . I love the chocolate colour. It has a good hood for when it is raining - great when just had my hair done. The pockets are practical . I have hardly had it off my back since purchasing in November. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FOR PRICE , QUALITY AND STYLE .

Lovely warm coat. Haven't rain tested it yet but material feels waterproof. Pull ties in the hem are odd though. I'm 5'5" and would be unable to walk if I tightened them!

I wore this parka for three weeks and loved it - it is warm, roomy (which I like) and has a pleasing weight to it - but sadly the lining 'dropped' and the fleece showed an inch or two below the bottom of the outer layer. The sleeve lining (a shiny material) did the same thing i.e. dropped below the outer layer and became visible. The colour of the outer layer then rubbed off on the fleece, creating a dirty-looking line across the bottom. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement! I returned the coat for a full refund, one of the benefits of buying from M&S. My experience put me off exchanging for the same design, and is the reason for my ratings. It is interesting to see there are other reviews stating the same problem.

Needed a replacement coat for winter, spotted this one although I'm not usually a "Parker Jacket" fan, however once tried on, have to admit it changed my view. Great waterproof, windproof cosy warm winter/spring jacket. The fit is just right, colour goes with much of my wardrobe, and is "trendy" for this season, as today, Ill mainly be wearing me "Parker" Lol. Lol. Lol. Try it for yourself, and see.

This Parka coat is a very good fit very versatile with hood edging being removal, good zip and also many studs.

I'm ready for it - have had the waxed cotton jacket which has fiinally begun to look shabby; needed a new, winter jacket for informal wear - and I LOVE IT! It's cozy and comfortable, with practical pockets and, perhaps best of all, the fur trim around the hood is detachable, so it wouldn't look OTT on chilly spring days

Looked an excellent jacket on the hanger but the style did not suit me at all - too tight on the bust and a bit roomy on the hips. To be fair, I often have this problem. Pity, as it looked like a nice jacket.

I love the colour and fit of this coat, the only issue I found is the fleece lining hangs lower than the coat and can be seen around the bottom. I don't know whether to return it or not at the moment or fix it myself.

Went into my local M&S tonight for salad, and saw this! I tried it on and thought it would be perfect for walking the dog. Imagine how pleased I was to find it was 30% off. Lovely colour and such a change from black, brown, khaki and navy. Expecting to get a lot of use out of it. I like the fact you can unbutton the top of the detachable fur trim so that, in the rain, you can fold it out and keep your fringe dry. I also like that the hood is not detachable. Expensive salad but pleased I saw it!

I am normally a Per Una devotee but having read all the reviews about this parka, I decided to purchase it. It is simply the best parka I have ever purchased from M&S. I cannot think of one thing to criticise. I vary between a 16 and 18 with items and decided to opt for the 18, which allows for a warm jumper to be worn. The Berry colour is lovely, a nice change from black or navy and will go with most other colours worn, if this is a consideration. All I can say is if you are considering purchasing this parka, do it now before it sells out!

Saw this coat and decided it was what I wanted and the besg I, d seen. I tried one on in the shop and found a size down was perfect for me, but I went home and ordered it on line as it had 20% off there but not in the shop. It has a lovely soft fleece lining which hax kept me warm on playground duty so far, its a shame the sleeve linings are polyester as not as warm as main body of coat.

Really warm and stylish coat. Love the colour, design and the 'inside' drawstring waist so it doesn't look big and frumpy. Great hood. The sizing is a little generous but fits really well if you aim for your smaller size. Tried and tested at a very windy and wet outdoor event recently and it certainly kept me warm and dry. Perfect! Highly recommended.
