PETITE Floral Print Waisted Midi Dress

This dress fitted beautifully and at last a dress with sleeves in a style I like. However I had to return it because it had a hem that was not level - very up and down. Not the quality I expect from M&S. Another colour more summery would have been good.

The first dress I tried was not made very well at all, I nearly didn’t order a second one, but so pleased I did. This dress has a slight texture to it and details not seen online. I think this is the best fitting dress I have purchased for a long time and know I will wear it many times. Depending on footwear worn with it it’s one of the dresses you can dress up or down, the neckline is not too low and the length is mid calf on me being 5ft 2in. A very happy shopper!

I love this dress. . I am on the small side of petite and this was still a good length. My teenage children complimented the dress and that is worth 5 stars. More petite dresses please m&s Will wear this all summer x also liked the length of the arms

Size 6 petite but still too long and the elastic waste does not feel fitted.

Read all the reviews of this dress, took heed that it comes up big so ordered a size 6 petite; normally I am a size 8 petite. The fit was perfect and the length also, I am 5ft 2ins and it came mid calf. Lots of people commented on where the waist sits - I think the description 'shirred waist' is misleading, I think the shirring is meant to sit between the bust and the waist - that is where it sits on me and looks right.I also think it better suits a fuller bust, gives it shape. Lovely on trend colour. A very versatile piece, I wear it with trainers and a short denim jacket but could easily wear with heels for a different look.

I was disappointed in the overall appearance of this, and I felt it was not shaped at the top.

Absolutely love this dress! The petite fit is absolutely perfect for me. Love everything about it! Fabric, colour and design is lovely. Great length, lovely sleeves. So looking forward to wearing this dress. More colour/pattern options and clothing range for petite plus size ladies are desperatley needed, please!

I am a size 14 with a big bust. What I liked especially was the V neck and 3/4 sleeved which were flattering. It felt super comfortable with the ruched waist. But the problem is that the waist is far, far too short/high. The bottom of the ruching was still above my natural waistline (and I generally am considered short-waisted). The waistline may be better if you have a small bust, but as another reviewer said I think this style is more suited to a larger bust. I will try the standard size and hope that it is not too long overall.

This dress is beautiful. Loved the colour and the material . The style is so flattering. With much regret I had to send it back as it was far too long for my petite size. Needed at least 4in off the bottom. Listen to us M&S .

Looking forward to receiving dress but material not great I think it is expensive for viscose. Poorly made did not sit right on the neck and shoulders, shame because I like the style. Had to return.

I am 5'4" and I ordered my normal size in petite having read other people's reviews, and the length of this dress on me was fine. I like the style and the material but the elasticated waist was just too high on me (and I don't think I have a long body) and I knew I would be constantly feeling I wanted to pull it down if I kept it. It is also quite pricy for viscose in my opinion. So back it went.

Iit was lovely dress and is a pretty colour. I'm normally a size 10 but after seeing the previous reviews I ordered a size 8 which was perfect apart from the length. It was far too long and more of a maxi- ankle length actually. I am 5ft 2 ins and that's why I ordered a petite but still too long.
