Brushed Pencil Pleat Blackout Temperature Smart Curtains

Good for the price but don’t seem to hang properly possibly due to the blackout/temperature regulating linings. Quite creased when unwrapped but seem to be less now hanging. Used in spare bedroom but wouldn’t use in my one due to the above.

Had to return these as the colour was nowhere near the images. We purchased "rust" which actually turned out to be closer to pink! Hopefully this was a one off, but I would advise against ordering online just in case. The quality of the curtains was clearly very good though.

Bought for guest bedroom, nice colour and good quality but very heavily creased. Gently ironed on recommended setting over and over but still creased and after several days hanging creases still apparent. I think it would require washing to remove them and washing is not advised on the care label. I’m keeping them as I need the curtains but would hesitate to buy again.

Pleased with curtains except they were quite creased when I took them out of packaging so tried to iron them and instructions say only use no1 on iron which doesn't do a thing. Must not use steam so hung curtains hoping creases will drop out but after 10 days still creased. Blackout part works well.

I had my eye on these curtains for several months but they were out of stock. When I saw that they were back in, I instantly bought them in the rust shade. However, upon receiving the order I noticed the label said terracotta and unfortunately is not a complete match for the image on the website. Nonetheless, the curtains are of a great quality and definitely restrict the amount of light that comes through. I am happy with them but slightly disappointed with the colour.

Curtains were purchase to block out the sunlight as the old pair we had were not lined, this pair certainly did the job. Very well made and superb quality fabric, searched forever to find a plain terracotta pair of curtains and nearly gave up but M&S delivered the goods. I was a little loathed to pair the high price but it was worth it to get what we wanted.

Excellent quality and really impressed with blackout capabilities. Keeping curtains closed during this hot spell and the temperature control really does work.

The colour was as expected from the website and went well with the room walls. The lining was of good quality and well fitted. Unfortunately the curtain material suffered greatly from the length of time 'vacuum' packed since manufacture (in China). Despite following instructions regarding No Steam, Cool Iron Only we couldn't get the multiple creases out. The curtain in the tightest, next to inner card, was worse than that towards outside of the pack. Photographed, showed staff at Household, took them back next day and obtained full refund. M&S web links to Curtains - Customer Comments - shows high number of unsatisfied regarding same issue with these particular curtains.

Great blackout curtains hang lovers nice and heavy

Bought the sage colour in these curtains. Really nice thick curtains and they hang well. Really good value for the money. Look expensive.

I ordered 3 pairs of this item in 2 sizes, & I must be honest, I was quite disappointed with them. I like the rich, dark red colour, but I did notice, that the narrow pair was a slightly lighter shade than the other 2 pairs. As they were to hang next to a wide pair, that wasn’t ideal. I also noticed, that although I ordered 3 pairs with a 229 cm (90”) drop the narrow pair were an inch longer. I also noticed that the curtains were not exactly the same length. However, I was fortunate to be able to alter them when hemming to the correct length. Apart from that, the curtains do look lovely at my windows. They are very heavy; I think due to the thermal backing. They do blackout the light & I think, they will be ideal to keep out the cold in the winter months.

These are good quality curtains that much better than others for blocking bright morning sun. Just what we wanted.

I am really delighted with these curtains. They are great quality and look much more expensive than they actually are. I bought two pairs for a bedroom and they hang beautifully. Lovely colour (Blue).

Just what l ordered and wanted to finish off my sitting room. Colour was ideal to go with the rest of my furnishings.
