Worth it for the McLaren fan if you can acquire for a discounted price, otherwise just get the new MCL38 set and skip this one - it is far superior.

I bought 4 out of the f1 cars and idk if Lego cheaped out on quality, but this set and the others were terrible putting together they kept popping off every 5 seconds and I spend an extra 20 min trying to do one step without undoing the previous 3, disappointing, like I can’t even keep the bottom panel on without popping the top piece off

Many parts to this build are very complicated and bits don’t fit well dewalt side panel don’t fit well is always falling off and the right and left small slopes in the build push panels off. I would avoid buying this until it is redesigned to be more builder friendly

When the Speed Champions theme first came out, the cars were fun to build and sturdy. Now they have become more and more flimsy. This one is the worst one I've built. When building the side assembly, for example, each time you add a piece, another one falls off. It's not until you finally get to the end of the assembly that it all seems to stay together. Also the rear assembly is difficult to keep attached. Keeps wanting to fall off. Definitely not a car I will be playing with.

Not only is this set super cool-looking and detailed but it is extremely fun to play with aswell. As a Massive Formula 1 fan, I personally think it is really accurate to last years car. It was really fun to build and i hope lego releases more sets like this in the future

My sons (13 & 21) thoroughly enjoyed this McLaren set and had fun over putting the piece together. Its a beautiful design and not too difficult for younger ones, but detailed enough to be appreciated by older collectors.
