LEGO® Animal Crossing™ Isabelle’s House Visit 77049 (6+ Yrs)
£34.99
Product code: T961280
Join Isabelle as she visits Fauna, a deer, at her house. Fire the slingshot to pop the balloon and release the present. Water the garden and pick the veg to cook in the kitchen. The interior is styled in Fauna’s colours, but she’d like a room refresh. Help her move the furniture. Change the windows and rearrange the baseplates to switch up the house to make it look completely new.

I think this might be the strongest set in the line so far. The house looks incredible and has so much interior space. The printed phone and KK Slider Vinyl are wonderful additions, as are all the furniture you can fully up the house with. The interchangable windows is a nice little play feature and the small tree and pumpkin patch builds really complete the set. Finally Isabelle looks prefect and I'm thrilled they went with her New Leaf design for her first Lego minifig!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super cute love all the details and accessories it comes with to fill in the house. Easy to build just takes some time with all the small pieces. It is very fun for kids who have experience with Legos. Took me about 30 minutes to assemble. Love that you can move furniture around and design it to your linking.

Another Fabulous AC Set

This was the second Animal Crossing set in the collection that I’ve built. I enjoyed the consistency in the architecture of the houses. The designs of the furniture stay very true to the game designs, so I loved how authentic it felt with the other sets. The workbench and garden are great additions, but the cherry on top was the floating present with the ballon, and the fact that it’s functional as well. This build was just as fun as the first, and I’m looking forward to seeing more Animal Crossing sets!

Cute little dollhouse-type set

This was a fun little build, and I really enjoy the dollhouse aspect. Being able to customize the layout of the elements, both the interior furniture and exterior landscape, is a great feature. I have a display shelf that allows sets to be seen from both sides and this works perfect for that setup- visitors will be able to see a cute scene with Isabelle and Fauna from the front, and can see the cute interior of the house from behind.

Great fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter managed to build this by herself in about an hour- it was a fabulous hour! The detail was great, the little touches like having mini cakes in the oven is awesome. The parts are tiny, but it's clearly labelled that it's not for younger kids. It's now proudly displayed in the living room, and played with often!

Fun with clear instructions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is 6yrs old and has been enjoying Lego sets for a few years now. We found this set really fun to do. My son was able to complete this set with minimal help. He found the illustrated instructions easy to follow and by having the lego split into numbered bags means there is not too many pieces for him to work with at one time. Once completed this set looked bright and fun with cute characters. We will definitely be buying more set from this series.

Animal crossing fans will love!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Animal Crossing fans dream of a of a Lego set. This Lego set is fun and engaging. My daughter had so much fun building this and seeing her animal crossing favourites come to life. The instructions were very clear and understandable for 6 years and older to be comfortably read and followed. The attention to detail on the characters Isabelle and Fauna is astounding. Once the house was built, it was extremely durable and had so many creative features, such as smoke coming out of the chimney. The garden tools for planting all the wonderful flowers, just like the real game, and a post box. The set itself isn’t massive, but it’s a decent size to enjoy imaginative play. The furniture inside such as the clock, bed and table can be re arranged to however you desire. There isn’t anything Lego could have done to improve this Lego set. As with most Lego sets there are small pieces so I’d avoid younger children and babies unless supervised to play with this set. We hope to add to the collection and hope to see the characters being sold separately one day so we can add all of our favourite villagers.

Fine for young kids, but set's design is too basic

No, I don't recommend this
I appreciate that Lego chose to make Animal Crossing sets, but in many ways, they haven’t done the franchise justice. Presumably under the guise of these sets being for younger kids, they’ve missed the mark in a couple of ways. The main being that with so few pieces and such a simple design, they haven’t translated the whimsy of the games themselves. Houses in the game are exaggerated and proportionally about half roof and half stylized front facade. It’s almost like in every one of these initial sets, they were about 100 pcs short from getting the look right, with details like slight curves to the entrance roofline and non-straight sides to the entrance being essential. The games just aren’t this rigid. In this set, they clearly needed another row of roof tiles, so why so conservative in providing those pieces? So, as a result, these sets feel like a poor value to someone like me. The audience for these games is very wide, with an age range of about 6-40 yrs, much like recent Mario games. By focusing so much on the very youngest side, they’ve missed out on creating a more interesting, better designed build that would appeal to a much wider audience - even if still approachable by new builders. I hope they'll do a bit better in later renditions. I wouldn’t recommend this set.
