Mens Max 3

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was blown away by the comfort and feel of these Ghost Max 3. I have a Sciatic problem and wearing the Ghost Max 3 serves the purpose of comfort while walking.

Not good. After Dozens of perfect Fits…
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
I’ve owned two dozen Brooks shoes. Perfect fit every time. Except these. Right shoe doesn’t fit. It’s like it’s missing the padding in the rear.

Shoe tongue help.
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome shoe, the only thing I could suggest is to possibly lengthen the tongue by 1/2 inch. The reason is, if you use the very last eyelets to cinch you does well, you have the tendency to have your show strings overrun the tongue and be sitting on your foot. 1/2 inch extension of the tongue would greatly help in solving that problem as I see it. This is my second pair of Ghost max's and really enjoy them.. The reason I wrote this survey was because I watched a video by Brooks and the lady that was in the video showed a runner how to extend and tighten her shoes by using the last eyelets and I do the same thing they fit very well they tighten up very well but the tongue is just a tad bit too short.

Poorly Designed and Made
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
After only 3 weeks, the exterior of the toe-end of each shoe is coming apart. I have been using the shoes on level ground. The toe-end appears to be very fragile and poorly designed and made. I mostly just walk in these in the city. Occasional kneeling to the ground.

Big/Wide Feet Need Color!
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great shoe. At 6'3 and 270lbs., size 15 X-wide, this shoe is great. I go between the Glycerin and the Ghost Max and love them both. However, can we please have other color choices? Every time I see a color I would love my shoe in, I plug in my width/size and the only shoe available is Grey or black. Please???

Best Shoes I’ve Ever Owned
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best shoes I’ve ever worn. I was having issues with shin and lower back pain while walking. Since wearing the Ghost Max 3, I no longer experience these issues. The larger toe box is super comfortable. I am an absolute fan!!

Great comfortable shoe
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love the cushioning and the great fit. I am an older runner/walker with bad knees and heels that hurt after to much time on my feet. This shoe has relieved all the pressure on my heels and my knees feel great. I like them so much I bought a second pair two months later. But make sure you love the color before you take them out of the box. I regret my choice on the second pair.

Ghost max 3 sizing frustration
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2nd try now out of stock - no way shoe is TTS -( true to size) maybe for narrow footers that like hitting front of shoe . I been measured by 6 different places I am a true 10 2E wide period by all professionals plus fleet feet foot scan . These companies or making shoes narrower and shorter . I took the ghost max 3 not only did I put it up to a standard lifestyle shoe the 10 2E wide they were same width and length but - the tapered toe box on front of shoe goes in on both sides which makes it short half a size big toe rubbed . Now if it was a wide which it said it would not be same width as a standard lifestyle shoe I had that has more room then the ghost max 3 tried it twice figured it might of been different manufacturing issues but no didn’t work . Idk if there trying to save money but base of shoe was no wider then a standard shoe width check it out put the ghost max 3 on top of a standard shoe see for yourselves all I can say . 10.5 sold out I also tried extra wide funny wide hair to narrow then extra wide so wide I float in it idk waiting for new version 4 now have no choice I give up insole also measured to my other wide insole and noticed ghost max 3 was narrower if any or left for wide footers I go half size up 5⭐️cushion 3⭐️ tongue 2⭐️ fit hope version 4 is better love brooks but sizing is all over place now regular ghost 18 fits true to size glycerin 23 is short also way to snug idk why it so hard for companies can’t get sizing correct but selling online sense stores only sell standard sizes wish they could correct these issues makes things frustrating all I got to say yes 100% recommend brooks fantastic shoes but theres work to do to correct sizing issues as far as I am concerned .

All Day Walking Shoe

Good Shoe for Bad Knees
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lots of cushion for those out there with bad knees. These have been very helpful. The only draw back is that the insoles tend to create little lint balls when wearing socks. They need to be removed or it feels like a little pebble in your shoe. Well worth the inconvenience. Re the width question below, I wear double E's.
