Good for long workdays

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn working as a nurse and on my feet 12+ hours a day. They have good cushion and support. They are also very stylish.

Worst version of ghosts.
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
I've owned about 9 pairs of ghost over the years since the 14. They have helped with my plantar fasciatus, until the ghost 17. They're are very tight (hoping they would loosen up a bit, but not so). Heel does not go into the shoe as previous version. They cause my feet to fall asleep (even when untied) when idle. This version has caused me to start purchasing Saucony (which are comfortable like ghost used to be). I'm afraid to try and waste the money on the ghost 18. Too, expensive to only wear a few times.

Comfortable shoe

Best Walking Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m an older walker, not a runner. The Ghost 17 has given me hundreds of miles of complete comfort, support and cushioning. I also get compliments on the design. Great deal!

Overall Great Shoe
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put in 5-6 miles per day, and have been a fan for several years.... I would have given a five star, but the soles of the 17 have lost tread, and arch has lost bounce back,,, have about ~500 miles on the shoes, .. I did just buy another pair ..

Stock up. 17's are great, but they are always changing them...

Fantastic. However, if you like any iteration of Ghosts, say these 17s, buy a bunch of them because sometimes the next generation is too different and you have to wait. 10s and 11s were great 12 and 13s sucked, 16 and 17s are good; etc.

Ghost continues its reign in running!
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brooks Ghost shoe is great! I found the toe box was wide enough and sufficient for my feet. The recent heel/toe drop was something that I thought would be a concern but found it to be comfortable during my longer runs.

Comfortable shoe
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great fitting and very comfortable. I like these better the the Adrenaline line just because of the Ferdinand fit. My only negative is because I have a narrow foot, color options are limited. I generally have a choice of black or light grey and often the choice is but one color due to sold out or it’s an only option for a narrow shoe.

Great long distance shoes
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thoroughly enjoy my ghost 17s! I had purchased some adrenaline 25 but they were too tight on my upper foot and I decided to swap them for the ghost 17. These have been great in prepping for my half marathon, as well as for comfortable shoes for cross training and at work, I highly recommend!

Love ‘em!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very high arches, Brooks shoes have been a life saver for me. I have two torn tendons on one foot due to lack of support over the years and Brooks have greatly reduced my pain. I now have a second pair!

A reliable update of an old friend
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 12 runs with this shoe, I'd say this is a good but not revolutionary update ofthe previous Ghosts I've owned. If you've had them before, you won't be disappointed. The cushioning is still great. It still has the higher heel lift that I've always liked in the Ghost. The weight could be a little bit of a concern, but if you're an (ahem) veteran runner like me, it shouldn't matter much. I'm not about to snap off 7 minute miles in my marathons, so it works for me.
