Purchasing in an M&S sale always makes a purchase more pleasing by saving money, but I would probably have paid full price for these extremely comfy and cool to wear trousers. I ended up buying the black, green AND pink. They wash very well and there is no ironing! Very happy to have found them and so refreshing to find non-fuddy duddy design; I may be 60+ but it doesn't mean I want to look it! :o) Minor gripe - the waist ties are unnecessarily long.

Full marks to M&S for getting away from the frumpy middle of the road styles they've been serving up in recent months/years. These trousers were a valiant effort at boho but unfortunately weren't that good quality or fit. They were also far more expensive than similar garments regularly sold in street markets. I returned the pair I ordered in the sale.

I ordered these ankle grazer trousers on line and in the sale at an excellent price and they fitted lovely as well! The material is like 'cheesecloth' we used to have years ago (no need to iron) so very useful on holiday. Lovely colour and so cool and comfortable but at full price a bit pricey. Went a size down as well!

I thought these would br great casual wear but completely unflattering. Fabric was very creased and the over embroidered pockets did not help the look! They fitted well but why all the embellishment? Husband hated them immediately. Colour was nice though

An impulse buy when browsing the sale on the web. Returned them because the colour on offer at the time really didn’t go with anything in my collection of tops. I have reordered in black since. I already have one pair in this style and they are a comfy fit. Wash well and need no ironing so are great for casual relaxed holiday wear.

I love these lightweight cheesecloth trousers. I bought size 12 but they were huge so swapped for 10 and they are perfect. I haven’t washed them yet so we will see if they shrink. Thanks m and s your usual high quality

I bought a pair of these trousers for my holidays as I knew it would be hot. I dressed them up for evenings but they would do equally as well during the day. The embrodiery gives the trousers a classier touch than other similar trousers I have bought. Lighweight, comfotable and cool to wear. I like the tapered fit very much. I bought it in a short length which fitted perfectly lengthwise. Soimething I did notice about the cut of the trouses was thst in every photo I had taken whilst wearing them one of the inside legs drags and bags a bit so maybe not as well made as I would like. However I am going to buy them in the other colours but will look them over carefully.

I have written before and received a courteous reply about leg length in trousers but nothing has been done. It makes buying trousers a nightmare, having to try umpteen pairs on to get the right length. I am 78 and have limited energy.

Lovely looking trousers for summer - liked the style and colour. Nice embroidery detail in pockets. Sadly due to the soft material, it did not drape or sit well on me and looked quite floppy. So unfortunately had to return it reluctantly. May be because of the ‘peg’ style.wobder if it would have been better as straight leg trousers.
