CSC II Fleece Gaiter Snood

Great Gaiter and worth the price, thick fleece and cosy feel, i use it every day when its windy and chilly, i feel fully protected!

Just the very best snood I can find anywhere.It's part of a gift and a definite cut above your average snood . So pleased chose it helped by another reviewer who thoroughly recommended it.

I bought this for an upcoming trip to Poland in February. I'm anticipating freezing temperatures. I did buy it in time for a trip to the US where the daytime temperatures were hovering around freezing, so it was a good test. The gaiter really did help keep me warm. Having not used one before, I was surprised at how comfortable and warm it was.

This snow scarf is a reliable choice for winter weather providing excellent protection against the wind. One of the standout features of this snow scarf is its ability to handle windy conditions exceptionally well. While it may not entirely block out the cold winds, it certainly minimizes their impact, making outdoor activities much more bearable. The scarf's design seems to be particularly effective in windy weather, providing a sense of protection against the biting chill. However, I did encounter a minor drawback related to the tightening elastic band. When I attempted to cover my nose and ears, I noticed that the band's movement could be a bit cumbersome. There is approximately 1.5 inches of room for the band to shift, leading to occasional blockages of the nose and lips when moved down or covering of the eyes when adjusted upward. To enhance the overall experience, I suggest that the tightening elastic band stitching should be tighter to prevent unwanted movement. A snug fit would ensure that the band stays in place, eliminating the inconvenience caused by its shifting during use. With a minor adjustment to the tightening elastic band, it could become even more comfortable and user-friendly. Its performance in the GTA's winter weather is commendable, although I cannot speak to its effectiveness in more extreme cold regions, such as the north.
