Batman to the rescue! Confused about the style/fit

I brought this as I was looking for a super hero themed sun swimsuit with matching hat and this ticked the box. I like the swim costume alot but I am a little confused by the fit so I would recommend you try it on. You see I have ordered a size up (4-5 years) but it is not, in my opinion, big on my son. Warning to parents with a child with a larger then average nugget, the hat is not the biggest fit. Whats confused me is, I think, now, that it is knee length and 3/4 length arms. I'm not unhappy if that is the style, but if it is then a picture of a child wearing it might be aventageous, as it's not clear. But that aside, I like this alot and most importantly my sons loves it even more!
