Checked Wide Leg Trousers

Lovely for work. Comfortable on the legs but a little bit snug on the waist.

These are fantastic trousers, lovely material. After checking stock daily on line there was finally some 10 regular in stock so I ordered. They fit but I felt the waist was a little snug as I wouldn’t have been able to tuck in a top so returned for the 12 but they were way too big around the waist and bottom so I had to return. I regret not keeping the 10 because there’s been no stock for ages. It would be great if there was something on line letting us know when new stock is expected in. These are never in store to try on. I am 5ft 6 and the regular was a perfect length. Very classy trousers and great colour . We need lots more like this

I'm 5ft 8ins and these trousers in regular length work well with low heeled boots. I like the wide legs but there is little too much volume around the top of the legs so they bunch a little - otherwise a very good fit. With a jacket, they look smart for work and they can be worn with jumpers in a number of colours (red, black, beige) for more casual occasions. I haven't washed them yet.

Have searched for a pair of these for ages and so glad they are back in fashion. They are a perfect fit, despite the fact that I am an older women with a less than perfect shape. Have not washed them yet. More colours please!

Really like these trousers, originally got regular length but had to return and get short, which fit perfectly. Material lightweight so perfect for this time of year.

I ordered a size 12 originally but they were a little snug, so I reordered and a size 14 is fine, I would want to tuck a sweater inside so I’ve now got room to do that. Love the belt loops too. Why oh why can’t t you do more trousers in this style. The fact they are now sold out proves I’m not alone in liking this style of trouser.

Lovely material and style, good pattern match (so important with checks!) and perfect fit on waist and hips. I used to buy a regular in this style which was perfect with high heels ( I am 5'2") but I had to buy these in a short length. Please can we have more of this material and style of trousers M & S :)

Ordered these on-line (24R) with another pair of wide leg trousers but decided not to keep them as they were a bit tight around the bottom area. (maybe 4% elastane instead of 2% in the material would have helped as the black and cognac wide leg trousers!) Then once home regretted returning them, but couldn't re-order, as not showing on-line at all (nor could they be found in the store returned to). The length was perfect (I'm 5'6"), they looked lovely on and any colour top showing a colour in the check will go with them. Ideal for the colder weather to come. These trousers re-appeared on-line a few days later and I managed to re-order them and happy that I did.

beautiful colour and nice fabric although a bit creased when I received them. The size 10 is true to size but about 2" too long to be worn with 2" heels (I am about 5ft9). Had to return reluctantly. Would suit a tall lady wearing high heels.
