step 1
Dollop the hazelnut crème (8 tsp) onto a greaseproof-lined plate and pop into the freezer for 1 hour, until the crème is solid.
step 2
Cut the cookie dough (1 pack) into 8 equal portions. Flatten a portion with your hand to about 2cm thick and pop 1 tsp of the frozen hazelnut crème into the middle. Fold over the dough to encase the filling, roll the dough in your hands and flatten slightly.
step 3
Repeat with the remaining ingredients, placing on a plate as you go, then place in the fridge to rest for 15 minutes.
step 4
Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan/gas mark 6. Line a large baking tray with greaseproof paper. Add the chilled cookies and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
step 5
Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.
step 6
Meanwhile, add the chocolate (100 g) to a heatproof bowl and set it over a pan of boiling water. Mix the chocolate until melted. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the cookies and scatter over the hazelnuts (2 tbsp).
