To make the smashed broad beans, bring a saucepan filled with hot water to a boil. Season the water with a big pinch of salt and drop in the broad beans (200 g). Cook for 2-3 minutes, until tender. Drain and return to the pan.

Add the lemon zest and juice (1) and the crème frâiche (2 tbsp). Use a stick blender to blitz until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Pop the baguette slices (1) onto a baking tray. Brush with a bit of olive oil, and place under the grill until golden brown. Flip and repeat.

Spread the relish (3 tbsp) onto the bread slices, followed by the broad bean smash, serrano ham (70 g) and bocconcini (1 pack). Drizzle with the Calabrian chilli paste (to taste), if you’d like.
