Burnout Checked Shirt

I have two shirts and a dress in this non-iron burnout fabric. They are perfect for me as I gave up ironing years ago and these look good straight out of the wash. I was slightly concerned that, as this shirt had the pleats above the bust, it would hang a bit loosely, rather than being my preferred fitted style. But there was nothing to worry about. I'll get great use out of this as a shirt and a light over T-shirt top.

Not my favourite colours but I washed it, spun it and hung it to dry and it came up smiling, which is what I wanted.

This blouse is a great buy for holidays being quick dry and non iron. Sadly it was too long for me. It also gapped slightly across the bust which is always a problem with stretchy fabrics.

Very pretty colours and extremely comfortable to wear. Shirt wars a little on the big size so ordered a size down which was perfect. Very pleased with purchase.

I liked the style and colour and the size 10 was a perfect fit if a bit long. What I did not like was the material, it looks as if it has holes and odd transparent bits all over it giving a shabby effect. I have returned this top.

Lovely colours on this blouse. Unfortunately I didn't like the pleating on the front and the collar felt a bit big. Would love this pattern in just the normal blouse style that per una used to do. Nearly everything has pleats or gathers in.

Liked the colour and material, although it will need a cool iron, nice for cooler day. The pleats at the front were in the wrong place for my bosom, unpick these and it fitted a lot better but it was still inclined to gape and the button to come undone, needed a small sewing job.

The fabric is luxurious though, as it is a little clingy, I had a size larger than normal, which was fine. Easy care, yet it would be an excellent day-to-evening holiday shirt.

Very feminine blend of colours, well made, lots of style and flattering shape. Inclined to be a bit 'snug' so don't buy down.

I was disappointed with this blouse. I like the soft colours and feel of the fabric, and it's true to size as far as my shape's concerned, but it arrived looking like a rag, terribly creased in the post despite the package being flat with several other clothing items in it all perfectly OK. I don't even think ironing will help as the fabric quality just isn't good enough. The finish isn't worth the price, either; there are loose threads and tacky visible hem stitching. So it'll have to go back.

I was disappointed with this shirt. I bought it as a birthday present for my mum and I wish I'd chosen differently. The material is very fine, and in fact, has a strange, patchy, worn-out look to it. The shirt is also too sheer to wear without a vest top underneath. It's also over-prised for what it is. I could not recommend this shirt.

Having read the one other review so far I wanted to add my comments too. Just bought today and I love it. Very soft and flowing. Pretty faded colours. True to size and easy to wear.
