Change Not Good - Bring Back GTS 23
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
I’ve been wearing the Brooks Adrenaline GTS for decades, most recently the GTS 23. The drastic changes made to the GTS 25 are horrendous — and that’s not an exaggeration. The new “cushioned” outsole feels mushy and unstable, like walking on Jell-O. Maybe fine for a funhouse, but not for a running shoe. The overall feel is uncomfortable, and visually they look oversized and clunky — almost like clown shoes. Why make such a radical change to a fantastic shoe? In my opinion, this redesign feels more like a Marketing Department project than something driven by runners. If Brooks wanted to create a shoe like the GTS 25, they should have introduced it as a completely new line or sub-line while leaving the core Adrenaline design intact. Call it the “Adrenaline GTS 2000” or something similar — but don’t replace a proven classic. Unfortunately, no other Brooks model fits my foot properly, so for me it’s goodbye Brooks. I returned the GTS 25. Bring back the GTS 23 with the wider last.

What’s with the heel collar?
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
What’s with the flaired heel collar? It only serves to catch debris and funnel it into the shoe! I’ve owned at least a dozen pairs of these over the years and loved them all for running and walking. But this is a deal breaker for me. Please make it go away in the “26”

Best Shoe for Peroneal Tendon Pain
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am overall new to Brooks as this is my 2nd pair after last year's Ghost Max 2. Although my podiatrist recommended a neutral shoe, I discovered a stability shoe provided more support and reduced pain caused by a tight peroneal tendon. My preference for comfort would be the Glycerin GTS 23; however, if you are experiencing peroneal tendon discomfort or need more support at the arch, this shoe works very well. My only concern is the length of the shoe and that it sometimes feels as if my feet are slipping. I suspect this has more to do with the length of my feet than an issue with the shoe itself.

Awesome Shoe for Walking

Favorite shoe

Bouncy and not stable
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
The style looks good and they are comfortable. The additional cushioning in comparison to previous models, it’s way too bouncy. It takes away from the stability function of the shoe.

Love love

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Adrenaline has always been my favorite but as a person with wide feet to start with the Adrenaline gts 25 are my favorite. They have a wider box at the toe with the most fabulous heel support. Wish more of the colors came in this same style.

Comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 6th or 7th pair of Adrenalines. The size and width (Medium ) is just right for my wide-ish feet. I walk 4-6 miles pretty much every day and the shoes are very comfortable.

Most comfy work shoes

He has had extensive history or flat fleet and plantar fasciitis but these help so much! Great for daily use and walking!

And yes, in case it wasn’t obvious: I really did not like this shoe.

Two pairs only one fit.
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two pairs of Adrenalines GTS 25. The first one was a black pair that fit and feel perfect. The second pair was grey and do not fit right at all and are very uncomfortable. They are the same size, supposedly. It's hard to call this a great shoe or even very good because of this.

Not a good fit
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
The Adrenaline GTS 25 appears to be almost full size longer than the exact same size as my previous GTS models when place side by side. And the toe box is much wider too. My older models fit great. No complaints at all. But I have way too much room for the front part of my foot in the 25's. The cushioning is fine. I should have returned them, but I let too much time elapse. I've been wearing Brooks since having their baseball shoes in the late 60's. I will still wear Brooks but I will be much more careful when selecting a size. Not just going with the size that I have always worn.

So much support
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My doctor recommended these, not for running, but for a good study shoe with incredible support for my prolapsed arches. As someone who can only wear tennis shoes, I appreciate the fun colors as much as the great comfort! My only wish is that the wider sizes could be in equally fun color options.
