They are very light so can be worn under other clothes or can be worn on their own. They look great. I feel the cold a lot so I actually wear 2 at a time but love the fact that I can feel warm without being bulked up

I really do like these thermal tops. I have thick ones for winter but the thin ones are good to wear under lighter clothes in spring or autumn. The reason I give only 3 stars is because the sizing is crazy, I am a 14 but need an 18 in these, and more importantly, M&S can't seem to understand than not all women are 5ft 10". I am actually 5ft 2" and there's a lot of customers my size and this top comes half way down my thighs. Ok with a skirt but looks and feels very odd with trousers. I find the same with their thermal leggings. If I stitched the end together I could easily have a built in sock. Come on M&D, lets have the shorter sizes back again.

Handy thermal tops I bought for a camping trip to a festival . Thin and practical. Cold at night so kept me warm under my PJs. Sized up to size 18 (usually a 16)

Bobbling in first week
No, I don't recommend this
Really bad quality material or else wouldn't bobble after wearing a cross body bag - other tops don't do this with same bag. Plus, both arms are bobbling at the top too. Looks worse in real life than in the photos. I've never had a top bobble before even washing it. I won't return as I need them for work, but after buying these light Thermgen tops for over 10 years and having them as a staple in my wardrobe mainly under tops and dresses, I don't want to buy again as the quality has become so poor now. It's not good enough and that's a pity as they are still soft and comfortable.

I always bought heat gen thermals as I feel the cold, but they have changed them and called them light which means they are not as thick and see through. ok if worn under you clothes
