Wide Ribbed Dressing Gown

The dressing gown is a good lightweight, needed for taking in hospital with me . I ordered large even though I’m a size 14 but it is not a complete wrap around at the bottom it falls open from hips down .

Cosy, if a little too long for a size small, but happy with it

Initially when I took the robe out of the parcel I thought that it was heavy. However I put it on and immediately liked the feel of it and was surprised at how good it felt. The material is soft and smooth so overall a good buy. It does look attractive too.

Really like this dressing gown which is not too warm for a centrally heated house. Size medium fits at the top but is not wide enough below the waist (and I’m 51kg with 36” hip)

This dressing gown is lovely and soft and I like the sleeves as they are fitted at the cuffs. It is about mid calf on me and I am 5ft 1inch tall, so no tripping on the stairs. As mentioned by others, there is no hanging loop. I found the wrap around to be fine in my normal size. Very pleased with it.

Perfect robe for me - thick enough to be cosy but not too thick to make you overheat. Feels and looks luxy.

Ideal mid season dressing gown. Warm but not too thick. Good quality. I ordered a Medium ( I’m a 10-12 ) but it was quite snug and didn’t have much wrap around. Length to mid calf. Not sure if it was incorrectly labelled but not as generous as I would have expected for a medium size.

It’s so hard to find a dressing gown without a hood so I was really pleased to see this. It is warm and cosy but there is not enough fabric in the front panels to wrap without gaping. A size up would just be too big. There is also no hanging loop - why? Sadly had to return.

Nice comfortable warm dressing gown without being too bulky. I like to have breakfast & do a few chores in the morning before having a bath & dressing for the day & this robe is perfect for that!

The dressing gown is a lovely soft material and is very nice to wear. I am a size 14 and the large size is just right for me. The length is just below the knee for a 5ft 4in person as I am. I particularly like the slim sleeves as they will stay pushed up when I want them out of the way.

A really lovely dressing gown with a cuffed sleeve and not too thick for us women of a certain age. Unfortunately the one I received hadn’t had the pocket side seam fully sewn on ,so I had to return it but the replacement one that I ordered is perfect!

This has a couple of good points e.g. no hood & no huge baggy sleeves otherwise as other reviewers have mentioned there is no loop for hanging & no internal ties to keep the wrap overs in place, I’ve added these myself. Also I thought the sizing was skimpy (not enough fabric in the fronts) & although I selected it from the long filter on the website it certainly isn’t long on me, I’m 5’ 3” & it’s about 4 inches below my knees so very draughty & not suitable for winter, all in all not very keen. M & S should give the length of these items as the illustrations are usually cut off just around the knees so not very helpful.
