I am pleased with my Charlotte cardigan but I had a few problems getting it. I tried on Charlotte cardigans in other colours in a shop and found that the sizing was slightly different in different colours, as well as the button size being different, which seemed to change the overall effect of the cardigan more than might be expected. I decided I preferred the look with the larger buttons and wanted to go for the khaki green. Unfortunately, that was only available in very large sizes for weeks. Eventually it was possible to order in what I thought was my size, but I’m still not sure whether the 14 would have been a better fit than the 16. It’s a shame the khaki green cardigan wasn’t available in shops to try on and that it became available online so late that I didn’t feel I had time to reorder in size 14 to compare. Having said all that, I am enjoying the cardigan, finding that it goes well with smart wide-legged trousers.
