I am pleased with my Charlotte cardigan but I had a few problems getting it. I tried on Charlotte cardigans in other colours in a shop and found that the sizing was slightly different in different colours, as well as the button size being different, which seemed to change the overall effect of the cardigan more than might be expected. I decided I preferred the look with the larger buttons and wanted to go for the khaki green. Unfortunately, that was only available in very large sizes for weeks. Eventually it was possible to order in what I thought was my size, but I’m still not sure whether the 14 would have been a better fit than the 16. It’s a shame the khaki green cardigan wasn’t available in shops to try on and that it became available online so late that I didn’t feel I had time to reorder in size 14 to compare. Having said all that, I am enjoying the cardigan, finding that it goes well with smart wide-legged trousers.

Lovely cardi but it grows! As I’ve worn it, the sleeves have got longer and it has got wider in the body, but you can say this about most cotton knitwear. Otherwise the style and colour way is perfect.

Bought this in black/camel to wear over a plain straight black jersey midi dress with black pointy toed kitten heeled sling backs. It just seemed so right with those items! Very ladylike and smart cardi, beautifully made and true to size. The sleeves were a tad long, but I have quite short arms, so that's no fault of the cardi.

The neckline is neither round nor oval and doesn't sit as well as it might. It looks better buttoned up. Only worn a few times but seems to be stretching so now a little big and tge sleeves are too long. Disappointing.
