Powder Lite™ II Hooded Puffer Jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband bought this for me for Christmas because my daughter had just bought one for herself and was raving about how great the jacket was. I’m so happy to have received this jacket. I absolutely love this jacket. It’s so comfortable and fits perfectly.

I ordered and paid for a jacket of a small size. Instead, they sent me a petite one with short sleeves. The zipper on the jacket stuck and moved poorly, and the quality of the zipper itself is low - it won't last long. The edge of the sleeves and hood is made of very thin synthetic fabric, and this edge will also wear/crack very quickly. Despite the raglan sleeve at the shoulders, this jacket is also quite tight in shoulders.

I had been wanting a new Columbia coat so my husband bought me this one. No more freezing outside for me! It's thin and I was skeptical about that but it truly does keep me warm. Layers are needed at times for those freezing temps and harsh wind and even then the coat does an amazing job of keeping me comfortable and dry. I was in 35° rainy, windy weather last night and had the hood up. The weather proof outer layer is amazing. I did not get wet at all. The hood doesn't have drawstrings.or Velcro but it stays in place.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So many reviews saying to size up, but that was bad advice. Typically wear an XL, but sized up to an XXL and it was so big! Arms were super long. Hood is also one size without adjustable tie. Had a little trouble with the double zipper. I really liked the color, length, and overall quality of the jacket so I'm considering reordering since Columbia doesn't offer exchanges.

I bought this coat in January but it was not the II edition. Thinking it was the same jacket, not noticing the II, I gave my first purchase to my 13 year old daughter to wear who needed a jacket thinking it was the same. We are both between 4ft 9 and 4ft 10 and are extremely petite. The XS of the January purchase fits perfectly. This second edition however, is remarkably different and frankly, a disappointment. I will be sending it back.

How dissapointed i was to finally receive my jacket. Only to find it too tight in rhe bidy and with sleeves that hung way oast my fingertips. If I size up, the sleeves will be to my knees. And i got matching boots. Who actually designs these things?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I adore this jacket! I love the Omni-heat lining because it provides “flexible” warmth in my experience. I can wear this jacket when it’s in the 40s/50s and not get too hot, but I can also wears this when it’s in the 20s/30s and it keeps me plenty warm. The hood is a great fit that stays on your head and doesn’t fly off when it’s windy. I was conflicted on what size to buy. I am a size small in tops/4 in pants but my suggested size was medium. After looking at the size chart I decided to stick with my normal size small and I’m glad I did. It fits perfectly and leaves me enough room for a heavy sweater or hoodie. I even wore a bulky vest under it a few days ago and it was snug, but still zipped up and allowed me to move comfortably. I’m 5’6” and the length hits right at mid thigh. All around great jacket and the snowdrift color is just beautiful!

I love the length and from when I tried it on it seemed very warm. Bought the burgundy color and now I’m ordering the navy. Columbia jackets are so well made and last beyond the season.
