Lovely fit

Lovely trousers, fit well, just a little itchy on the waistband which isn’t lined (the rest of the trousers are lined). They seem to come up a little large - I’m normally between a 14-16, the 14 are good, if slightly too loose after wear!

Good quality and warm, quite high waisted. Lining doesn't quite reach the top of the waistband which makes them itchy and comfortable if not tucked a top in.

Lovely but Huge!

Spot on for winter work wear.... but was surprised how big the size came up. I'm going to have to take in a bit at the waist and always wear heels ;-)

Best trousers ever

Really love them. So far they have gone to work, a gig, a friend's house for curry. Probably one of the first smart pairs of trousers I've owned and actually liked.

Generous sizing, could probably gone down a size but with a belt ok, perfect length, I'm 5ft 7in.

Beautiful trousers, too big!

No, I don't recommend this
I really loved these trousers but the sizing is way off. I usually wear a 14. They were huge, more like an 18/20. Sadly smaller sizes now out of stock

Winter trousers.I needed to use a belt with these.

It is a thick sturdy material which allows machine wash in a laundry net.

Very pleased with this purchase. Not only are the trousers very chic but also very comfortable. I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase them in the sales.

Good practical trouser

Good fit for 5'7" 10 stone, worn with small heel or thick soled trainer. Lined to knee but very slight scratch from the wool. Good practical trouser for the price but doesn't hang quite as others.

Beautiful material. Gorgeous blue. Half lined - stops the wool from being scratchy. Very well made. Warm for wintertime.

Great quality. Perfect for work. Just the right length.

Far too long to be called “short”
Originally posted on www.whitestuff.com
I ordered the short leg - they were ridiculously long and even wearing a heel would not have solved it.

Fab trousers
Originally posted on www.whitestuff.com
I love these trousers. Can be smart or casual, they’re really comfortable & warm. I don’t find the fabric scratchy as some others reviewers have but they are quite generous so I had to return my first pair & reorder the next size down.

Lovely fabric, shape not good for shorter people
Originally posted on www.whitestuff.com
Really liked the fabric but the shape is too voluminous for me at 5’2”. No petite version available sadly.

Absolutely gorgeous and flattering trousers

These are a lovely thick-fabric, well tailored pair of trousers which are very flattering to wear. They feel good quality. They are great for autumn, winter and summer. I had to change the regular to short, as the regular were too long for me (compared to other WS trousers I've bought previously). My experience on length matches other review comments, which I only read after I'd bought them :) I'm 5 foot 6 size 14.

far to big for sizing
Originally posted on www.whitestuff.com
Please stop making your sizes so big. I used to be a 10 now all your 10's are far to big. Also your regulars are now far to long. These could have been great trousers, nice fabric but stomped my realistic size 10 figure.

Great smart winter trousers

2nd pair of these I have bought (have both the blue and the grey) as it is so difficult to get decent winter trousers that look smart.

Versatile, beautiful trousers

Fantastic to wear, so comfy and warm too as they are lined. They hang beautifully and the finish gets you many compliments. They wear up for work and great casually with trainers.

Belle Tweedy Trousers My Staple
Originally posted on www.whitestuff.com
I bought the Belle navy tweed today as I already have the grey tweed Belle wide leg trouser. Not sure how they can be described as the same, but will probably keep them anyway. This year's Belle tweedy navy is a heavier material than my grey Belle from last year, and they definitely fall wider all over. Saving grace is that they have a lining down to the thigh, which is lovely if you are worried about the tweedy fabric itching. I love this style but wish White Stuff would not use the same description when there are changes a style. I was also interested in the Belle cord version until I realised it has patch pockets on the back rather than the sewn invisible pocket. Why on earth use the same descriptor of Belle if they are different in style? The blue Belle tweedy wide leg is a good winter choice due to the heaviness of the fabric, and that's why I'm keeping them. In my opinion my Belle grey tweed from last year are a superior fit. I'm now afraid to try the cord version in case they are too bulky all over and will make the long journey into a store to try them on instead of having to return if they don't work out. Please White Stuff, can we have consistency as buying your trousers is my go-to due to the choices in lengths! I'd like to know what it is I am buying and when I buy x2 or more pairs of "Belle" I don't expect them to be different except in colour or fabric! PS There is no way I am a size 12 in any other shop but I know my sizing now at White Stuff and stick with it! Hope you keep consistency with sizing and with descriptions.
