Herringbone Wide Leg Trousers with Wool

A lovely pair of trousers which hang beautifully and look smart and sophisticated. Sizing is large, as detailed by previous reviewers. However, the main problem for me is length. I’m 5’4’’ and the short length is literally floor skimming. As someone who only really wears flats this can be an issue. It’s also hard to get hold of the short length (in any trouser) as it seems to sell out really quickly. As the short length is popular why not make more?

These trousers are high quality and I wore them on Christmas Day. I have given them 4 stars because they came up very long and I had to shorten them by 2 1/4 inches. Also they come up large: I had to return the first pair I purchased because they were too large in every direction, although I ordered my usual size. They sit at the natural waist and are lined to the knee, both excellent points.

Extremely comfortable… great that they are lined down to the knee as could be a little itchy if not. They wash up a treat and do not need ironing..

Just tried these on, I'm 5'3 (161cm) and they were too long, but the main issue is I didn't realise they are lined with polyester material and felt very uncomfortable to wear, I could feel the static against my legs - so avoid if you also dislike the feeling of static and polyester!

Comfortable smart trousers for work or casual wear. Good quality and value for money.

Very warm and comfortable trousers. Great for a drafty office in winter! They do run a bit large around the hips, but I found the waist to be truer to size.

Comfortable trousers, suitable for work, but not out of place with a jumper in the evening. Good quality material (no VPL issues!).

Perfect regular length for 5 ft 4 tall person and thickness is perfect for winter. True to size. Bought the charcoal grey, it goes with many colors. Very pleased with these trousers for work. Only slight bobbing of material between legs after a few wears.

Really pleased with these tweed trousers, warm and so comfortable. Had to send for smaller size but well worth it.

Lovely trousers, fit well, just a little itchy on the waistband which isn’t lined (the rest of the trousers are lined). They seem to come up a little large - I’m normally between a 14-16, the 14 are good, if slightly too loose after wear!

Good quality and warm, quite high waisted. Lining doesn't quite reach the top of the waistband which makes them itchy and comfortable if not tucked a top in.
