The stand looks durable and the pieces do not fall easily. This product is aimed at those over the ages of 18 however I believe those that are 15 plus can build it.

This was a great gift for my husband- I always try to find LEGO sets that will keep him busy for a while, and this one is intricate enough to do just that. This is a great gift for the Star Wars fiend in your life! The build was engaging without being frustrating, providing a great challenge that kept him entertained for hours. The building process was enjoyable and rewarding especially since he didn't have to ask for help. It has been a fantastic addition to his Lego collection! ~ Portability: Because we have company over every other Saturday with smaller kids, he moves his LEGO builds to another area of the house. This set is sturdy enough to handle the move without falling apart, making it easy to reposition for display. ~ Safety: No sharp edges or fragile connections as well as great quality. ~ Durability: Once built, it holds together well. Even after being moved a few times, it remains solid with no loose pieces. ~ Versatility: While my son doesn’t play with the set, the detailed design make it a great display piece for Star Wars fans. ~ Entertainment Value: This set offers a fantastic mix of nostalgia for Star Wars fans and fun for kids. It is easy to put together and has loads of nostalgic touches. My son loves that it has a see through passageway that gives you a peek into the Starcruiser. It comes with its own stand, so it is easy to display, and has lots of extra pieces just in case you lose one. It also doesn’t take up loads of space, so he’s planning on displaying it in his wall shelf in his room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great mini ship set. There are a good number of pieces to keep the you busy for a bit. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, like most Lego sets. My son who is a more experienced Lego builder, was able to finish it in just about two hours, but the time may vary depending on your skill level. Overall it’s a great set and really enjoyed building it.

Definitely, a project is sage for kids, I think, over 7 as there are many small pieces. Overall, I was happy with it because it gives myself and my 11 year old something to do together.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a Star Wars and Lego loving family, we were really excited to build this. There were some little fiddly bits but wasn't too complex. The lego came in a cardboard box. Inside, there were paper bags with the lego pieces in and an instruction booklet, which was easy to follow. It took just over 2 hours to build from start to finish. It is displayed on a nice sturdy black stand, which makes it perfect for sitting in a cabinet, bookshelf, etc, when displaying. I would recommend this product for any Star Wars loving child or adult. Although it is part of their 18+ range, I feel this is to do with the small parts and difficulty in putting this together, but with help from an adult to build it, it would make a great addition to any ages collection.

Of course safety is a must with any pets or small children but I can guarantee you you'll have this built before they even bet a chance. The versatility of the bricks are good if you wanted to make something different or even take it on the go and make smaller builds, making it very portable too. You'll never get better than Lego.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking forward to my husband and nephews completing this Lego set not realising the age rating says 18+ on the box so myself and my daughter attempted it instead! The pieces are fiddly as expected with such an intricate model but we worked as a team and after a while was able to complete it. My only negative which isn’t the products fault so to speak is I have arthritis in my hands so the small pieces and pushing them together did start to make my hands ache but my daughter soon took over my pieces. It created a little bonding time with her and we was proud of the finished result! Thankyou Influenster!

Probably the second best ship in the midi-scale line, which has been a perfect way to implement more niche sets that wouldn’t do well as a playscale or UCS. In legends, the Mon-Cala cruisers were an art form, built to be unique from each other and a visual spectacle, and Lego captures that real well in this set. In some ways it looks better than it does in the movies. The frigate to the side looks solid as well. Pricing is rough on these sets though, and I feel like they could use a minifig to the side like the planet sets did back in the day, but that’s just nitpicking. Good for what it is as advertised. Can’t wait to build some shelves to display this thing, and looking forward to what this sub-theme brings to Star Wars in the future

This build was impressive. I would have never guessed LEGO could make this ship, let alone make it so accurate. the side removal fetus is a nice addition, and even with that the model is very substantial. I have all of the starship collection, and this one only ranks behind the Falcon and the Executor.
