[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LEGO Spider-Man Advent Calendar has been an absolute delight for my family this holiday season! From the moment we opened the first door, it was clear that this calendar was going to be a hit. Each day brings a new surprise, and my son eagerly anticipates what he’ll find next! The variety of mini-figures and builds is fantastic. We’ve gotten everything from Spider-Man himself to cool accessories and even mini villains! Each piece is well-designed and adds to the overall excitement of the calendar. My son loves building the little sets and incorporating them into his existing LEGO collection, which has sparked even more imaginative play. What I really appreciate is how this calendar combines the joy of LEGO building with the fun of the holiday countdown. It’s a wonderful way to create special memories together as we open each door. Plus, the quality of LEGO is unmatched, so I know these pieces will last for years to come. In summary, the LEGO Spider-Man Advent Calendar is a perfect blend of fun, creativity, and holiday spirit. Got at a discount so worth the build for my son, could do with a couple more figures though

Some of the builds are OK, but most make no sense and are very disappointing to smaller kids. My son is 4 and doesn't care for the trash can, stop light, or 'mini car' that doesn't roll, and there are no directions so we're left trying to figure out the build ourselves. I get that it's about making a scene, but two mini cars that do nothing and don't fit seems just lazy - NOT something I expect from Lego, especially at this price. I doubt I'll choose another advent from Lego.

Not enough of the characters or builds felt festive, there was a lack of holiday cheer on many figures. Day 2 being a pack of webs was a cheap move that left an excited kid no longer care as much for the next days. I did appreciate the sinister 6 easter eggs and many of the mini builds. Peter porker and spin were the stars but day 2 left a bad taste in my mouth.

We’ve bought the advent calendars for a few years now and this Spiderman one (six days in) has been the worst one by some distance. Some of the most uninspiring builds behind each box so far. Compared to his brothers Lego Star Wars advent calendar this one is just terrible. Who gets a spidey advent calendar to build a bin or a traffic light? He’s not even excited to open it anymore. I’d avoid it next year if it’s anything like this.
